We all know that our weight can effect us in more ways than one. It can effect our feelings about ourselves as well as physically make us less healthy. I hope that I can shed some light on better health and healthier eating through this blog and through my weekly column in the Independent News Herald.
My goal is to share something good (or feel good) in this blog every day. Check out my article in the newspaper this week for eight unexpected benefits of losing weight! I got the information from an article I read from Everyday Health. They have tons of health information on a variety of topics including safe dieting/weight loss strategies and more.
I check it often and have subscribed to many of their newsletters because of the wide variety of information. As I share more with you, I will give you more of the sites I frequent.
As in the past, I am using Myfitnesspal to record my daily calorie intake as well as keep track of my carbs, sodium and fiber. As a person who struggles with Type II Diabetes, keeping track of my carb intake is vital to my health.
Continue to watch this site for more of my blog. I must warn you, I try to always be positive, even in the face of bad things, so if you don't like positive and uplifting blogs, don't read this one!
