I've been feeling mighty ill the last couple of days, so posting something has not been a first priority for me. I have the influenza which should not be confused with the stomach flu... This is the respiratory, congestion, plugged nose, can't breathe, everything hurts, cough, sore throat type of influenza and it is not pleasant.
I skipped working out completely for one day because I just couldn't do it. But you want to hear something really strange? When I did my Leslie Sansone walk yesterday and today, actually doing the workout "unplugged" my nose at least for the 15 minutes-half hour that I was doing the workout.
I found that really strange because you would think that I would have gotten more plugged, but the opposite was true. I am not complaining, I am glad, but my hope is that I don't have to continually workout to keep my nose unplugged! I guess when I had everything moving during my workout, it must have loosened the stuff in my nose.
Trying to persevere when you are not feeling well is not easy, but I find that it is necessary because if I don't do it, I will find excuse after excuse to keep not doing it.
What are your excuses? For this day, try to make those excuses go away.
Until tomorrow, try to keep healthy!
