Eagle Valley Speech members place
in top three at state
Four members of the Eagle Valley Speech Team participated at the
state level of competition. All four speakers did very well against
some very talented individuals from across the state of Minnesota.

"silver tsunami" is coming
Will we be ready for it?
A tsunami is a large wave on the ocean,
usually caused by an undersea earthquake, a volcanic eruption or coastal
landslide. It can travel hundreds of miles over the open sea and cause
extensive damage when it encounters land.

Todd County Board of
Commissioners
Board approves rescission of
planning and zoning declaration
On a three to two vote, the board approved
the rescission of the recorded instrument with the Todd County Recorderís
Office that had been recorded on September 10, 1999 with the declarations
concerning the lots in Sibellís Subdivision.

Eagle Valley School Board
Architect search underway
By a unanimous decision, the Eagle Valley
School Board approved authorizing Superintendent Stephen Twitchell to
contact architects for proposals. The comment on the agenda was: ìWe will
need a special meeting for this. I will try to narrow the field to three
and have them present hopefully in May; June at the latest. I will contact
superintendents who have worked with architects recently. I recommend.î
