A glitch in the stories
As you have probably already noticed, I have not been able to fix the glitch with the stories. I will continue to work on this. If anyone who works between Macintosh and Windows environments has any clues on how to fix the problem, please don't hesitate to give me some advice! E-mail me @: karin@inhnews.com. Thanks. --Karin

Snow attributes to accident

Mike Dorman of Dyna-Mike's Automotive worked to pull a vehicle out of the ditch last Friday afternoon, April 25 after it had come to rest on its top along Highway 71 between Clarissa and Eagle Bend.  The vehicle, which rolled once, was driven by Josh Wagner, age 16, of Clarissa.  Wagner was uninjured.  His passenger, Dario Cervantes, was transported to the hospital, evaluated and released.  Near white-out conditions plagued our area when a snowstorm hit early that afternoon.  The abruptness and heavy snowfall of the storm resulted in many vehicles in the ditches.  This is the third snowstorm with measurable snowfall to hit the area since March 30.  The Todd County Sheriff's Office reported thirty-eight 911 calls in a 2 1/2 to 3 hour time span.  Eighty-one calls were taken throughout the day; the majority of which were weather-related.
