Links to Fall 2007 Sports Schedules!!On Wednesday, October 24 at approximately 4:26 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Minnesota Civil Air Patrol who advised them that they had located a downed aircraft in a swampy area in Turtle Creek Township. More No one will or is able to say why yet, but on a four to one vote, the Todd County Commissioners terminated the employment of Administrator Mike Petersen during a meeting held on Monday, October 22. Commissioner Randy Neumann voted against termination. More When you think of someone who is homeless you might picture in your mind a man who looks very rough around the edges who is sleeping in an alley in a mass of cardboard boxes and drinking cheap wine straight from the bottle. You might picture a "bag lady" carrying around all her possessions in an old shopping cart with wobbly and squeaky wheels talking to a "friend" who isn't there. More This November 8 will mark a historical notch in the city of Eagle Bend's belt as the Great River Regional Library Eagle Bend Branch celebrates 25 years in service. More Mick Stokes of Hewitt admits that officiating can be scary sometimes, especially when you are new to the game. But that doesn't stop him from doing it and encouraging others to do it, too.
