Winter in Hewitt

Hewitt rests serenely under a fresh covering of snow. The ballfield is empty now, but soon will be filled with young and old alike enjoying a game of ball.

The Hewitt

Community Center is an active place all year around. The Hewitt Lions and Hewitt Lioness hold meetings there as well as Christmas in Hewitt. Several organizations also rent the building for events, wedding receptions, anniversaries and the like.

The Hewitt Museum, formerly the old Hewitt School, is filled with articles from the past. The curator of the museum can tell you just about anything you want to know about any piece that is at the museum. The building itself is something out of the past and is one of the few remaining structures with this architectural design. The museum is open during the summer.

Welcome to Hewitt!

Soon the playground will be alive with activity as the snow melts and reveals the fun spring and summer times below the surface.

Winter fun abounds in Hewitt. Someone has even set up an ice house on the Wing River to do a little ice fishing.
