Lyle Stork
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 23, for Lyle Stork, 66, at the Faith United Church of Christ in Bertha. A memorial service was also held in Washington at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Bellingham, on Saturday, September 29.
Lyle passed away on Saturday, September 15, at Bellingham, Washington, surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife and by all of his family, his co-workers and clients and his many friends and acquaintances.
Lyle Warren Stork was born on May 1, 1941, to parents Oscar and Vera (Laust) Stork. He was the third of six children born into the Stork family. He was baptized on June 29, 1941 at Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church (now Faith United Church of Christ) at Bertha and was confirmed on August 23, 1953, at Peace Church. Lyle graduated from Eagle Bend High School in 1959 and attended Concordia College from there in 1963. He married Lynette Hartley on May 2, 1965.
Lyle completed his seminary training at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities where he graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1968. He was ordained for Christian ministry on June 9, 1968, having accepted a call as pastor at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Ballard, Washington.
A son, Christopher, was born into their family in January, 1970. Lyle began further graduate studies at the University of Washington. He was employed as a social worker for the Big Brothers program in Seattle and also worked for the Seattle School System. Lyle graduated from the University of Washington with a Master's degree in social work (MSW) in 1973.
Lyle worked in areas of mental health and social services for the past 34 years.
Lyle was married to Sandra Perkins of Seattle on September 29, 1992. They shared 15 years of marriage and especially enjoyed time with their children and grandchildren whenver they could be together.
We will also remember him for his love of cooking, good food, roasting coffee, reading and movies. Though Lyle was at heart a solitary, quiet person, he embraced the lives of others with strength, gentleness and love. He was a big bear of a man with a heart to match and a hug we will all remember.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of Bellingham; by their sons, Christopher (Julie) Stork, Chris (Christine) Perkins and Patrick (Katie) Perkins; their grandchildren, Isabella, Gabrielle, Katie Grace and Jack; by brothers, Ronald (Carol) Stork of Grand Rapids and Harold (Sharon) Stork of Carlos; by sisters, Eleanor (Ron) Engst of Park Rapids, Donna (Glen) Ward of Clarissa and Karol (Roland) Tomford of Wadena; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
May God bless the cherished memories that continue to remain in the eharts and minds of Lyle's family and friends, as he is lovingly remembered in the days and years to come.


Eudora Sinotte
Funeral services for Eudora Sinotte, 95, were held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Eagle Bend with Reverend Cordell Strug and Reverend Mary Carol Strug presiding. Eudora passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.
Eudora Louella Sinotte was born on August 20, 1912 in Clarissa to John and Anna (Carlson) Swanberg. She was united in marriage with Clinton R. Sinotte in Clarissa on April 14, 1935. Eudora and Clinton farmed in the Browerville area until 1941 when they moved the family west, living in Oregon and California during World War II. In 1946 they returned to Eagle Bend, where she worked at Weibye's, and at the hardware store that she and Clinton owned, all while continuing to raise her family at home. From 1962-1966, she and Clinton managed golf courses in Pierz and Buffalo. Clinton's health brought them back to Eagle Bend where she spent many years as caretaker of Domian-Anderson Funeral Home's chapel in Eagle Bend. After living for a time in her own apartment in Eagle Bend, She entered the Care Center in Clarissa in 1998, where she was a resident until her death.
Eudora enjoyed being a homemaker and being active with her friends in Eagle Bend. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, being outdoors fishing and spending time with her family.
Eudora was preceded in death by her husband Clinton on June 22, 1984; her parents John and Anna Swanberg; sons Gerald and Clay; brothers Roland Swanberg, Rubin Swanberg and Kenneth Swanberg; and sisters Julia Erickson, Violet Anderson, Alice Davis and Myrtle Swanberg.
She is survived by her children John (Bette) of Staples and Cleone (Mervin Johnson) of Eagle Bend; daughter-in-law Beverly Sinotte of St. Paul; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sister Gladys Michaelson of San Jose, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steve Weishair, Kim Weishair, Kurt Weishair, John M. Sinotte, Michael Sinotte and Tim Greene.
Interment was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Clarissa.


Kim Moller
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at noon at Esther Lutheran Church, rural Parkers Prairie, for Kim Rene Moller, 47, of Eagle Bend. Kimpassed away at her residence on October 13, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Kim was born to Lloyd and Maxine (Bowman) Hendershot on November 28,1959, in Parkers Prairie. She graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1978. On September 30, 1978 she married Bruce Moller at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clarissa. They made their home on the Moller family farm where they raised their two children. Kim loved spending time with her family, especially her very important grandchildren. About five years ago, Kim pursued her dream of opening a consignment shop, where she had over 200 consignors. She enjoyed spending time in her shop with customers, doing crafts, listening to music and the Friday night happy hour. Kim was a very strong willed woman who was always there for friends and family.
Kim is preceded in death by her mother Maxine Hennings; grandparents Sidney and Bertha Bowman and Claude and Grace Hendershot; and father-in-law Kenneth Moller.
Kim is survived by her husband Bruce of Eagle Bend; dad Lloyd (Judy) Hendershot of Vining; step-dad Gary Hennings of Osakis; children: JoMarie Moller of Shelbyville, Kentucky; Jason (Shawn) Moller of Eagle Bend; siblings Randy Hendershot of Vining, Terry (Nancy) Hendershot of Rose City, Sherri (Rowdey) Rupert of Osakis, Shawn (Becky) Hennings of Osakis; five grandchildren: Eric, Tylor, Zackery, Destiny, Collin "Buddy"; mother-in-law Lorraine (Harold) Woge of Eagle Bend; and many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
Interment will be held at the Hudson Lutheran Cemetery in Alexandria, at a later date.
