Clarissa man arrested for drug sales

The Todd County Sheriff's Office reports that on March 5, agents of the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force, West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension arrested Erik Roger Ott of Clarissa for first degree sales of a controlled substance and solicitation of a juvenile in the commission of a crime. Also arrested with Ott was a 17-year-old female.
A search warrant was executed at a residence in the city of Clarissa in which Ott was living. Agents recovered approximately 14 grams of suspected cocaine and estimated that they had recovered a total of approximately 42 grams of cocaine, with a street value of $4200, during this investigation.
The matter has been referred to the Todd County Attorney's Office for formal charges.
The Todd County Sheriff's Office, along with the above mentioned agencies, were assisted in this investigation by the Long Prairie Police Department.

Erik is my son. I live in California. He just moved to Minnesota in August of 2007. It's hard for me to believe he could get in so much trouble in such a sort time. I wish I could be there for him. I love you Erik! Mom
