March 5, 2008 Long Prairie man arrested in robbery According to a report from the Todd County Sheriff's Office, during the evening hours of February 24, the sheriff's office responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery in Reynolds Township. A 49-year-old Reynolds Township man reported that a subject forced entry into his residence and assaulted him. The subject also took a 16-gauge shotgun from the victim. Later that evening, deputies of the Todd County Sheriff's Office, agents of the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force and the Long Prairie Police Department executed a search warrant in the Fairview trailer court in connection to the robbery. Officers arrested 45-year-old Angel Lascano of Long Prairie, for robbery. On February 25, the Todd County Sheriff's Office executed a second search warrant in the Fairview trailer court and recovered the stolen 16-gauge shotgun. The Todd County Attorney's Office has charged Angel Lascano with simple robbery, first degree burglary and terroristic threats. |
