City of Clarissa Special Meeting
The City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 6 p.m. Primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed 2012 budget and levy which is scheduled to be adopted at the December 19 meeting.

Notice to the
Residents of Browerville
Snow and Ice
Removal from Sidewalks
The Browerville City Code of Ordinances (Title 7, Chapter 1, Section 3) requires that all persons owning or occupying a property abutting a primary sidewalk are responsible for the removal of all snow or ice from those sidewalks within twenty-four (24) hours after any snowfall or the accumulation of ice.
Those sidewalks located in the Business District from 8th Street on the north to 4th Street on the south have 12 hours after the fall of snow or the accumulation of ice to clear the sidewalks.
Persons failing to remove ice and snow will be responsible for the cost of removal and may be found guilty of a misdemeanor.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 7 p.m. the Todd County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners board room, Main Street Gov’t Center, 347 Central Ave, Long Prairie, Minnesota to consider the following applications:
(1) Merle & Kathy Felling: Big Birch Lake, Sliter’s Beach – Lots 12 thru 16, Block 1, Section 20, Grey Eagle Township.
Variance to remove the two existing cabins and replace with a single story home of 3,854 sq ft with attached 1122 sq ft garage with patio and decks. Variance required for cabin to be located 70 ft from the lake instead of the required 100 ft; to be 28 ft in height instead of the required maximum allowed of 18 ft; and to allow lot to be covered with 6,220 sq ft of structures verses the allowed 4,688 sq ft.
All persons interested are invited to attend said hearing and be heard on these matters.
