Dylan John Bennett was arraigned on August 27 at the Todd County Courthouse in the death of his parents, Barry and Carol Bennett.

Dylan did not enter a plea for the two charges of murder  in the second degree, with intent-not premeditated.

He was granted bail in the amount of $3 million conditional bond or $5 million unconditional bond. 

The order for release stated Dylan has to forfeit his license to carry a firearm, if he has one, and he surrendered his passport. If he posts bail, Dylan is not allowed to leave the state without written court approval. 

His first appearance in court will be September 9 at 1:15 p.m. before Judge Wetzel.
