After three months of hard work, the postseason was upon us last week. The Raiders opened with Quarterfinal action last Tuesday in Verndale against Staples-Motley. The bottom of the lineup took care of work early as Aiden Larson picked up the major decision. Then Deagen Captain, Quinn Kern and Reese Thompson found pins for the 22-0 lead and we never looked back. After the Cardinals cut into the lead with back to back wins, the Dean brothers both put up six to make it 34-7. The Cardinals would win the final four matches that were wrestled, but never really had a chance as Zavier Grefe and Craig Orlando picked up forfeits for the 46-30 BHVPP victory. . . .
