In the evening hours of Thursday, June 6, the Wadena Police Department was called to the Wadena County Fairgrounds after it was reported that something was found that was concerning.
When officers arrived, they located a deceased male inside the ticket booth located on the fairgrounds. Death investigators from the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office were called and assisted at the scene. The body was sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. No foul play is suspected at this time. More information will be released pending notification of family.
