Bus company to meet with school board again

Aksamit Transportation Inc. owners Mike and Jenny Aksamit intended to meet with the Browerville School Board again at the regular meeting of the board on Monday, May 13.
The district and bus company could not come to an agreement on the busing contract for the 2019-2020 school year during prior negotiations.
The district posted a letter on their website dated May 6 describing the situation from the district’s point of view along with the reassurance that there would be “no change or reduction in the scope of services for the next school year 2019-2020” regardless of the direction the district chooses to go.
