Car strikes two horses
On July 8, at 11:43 p.m., a Buick Park Avenue driven by David Lynn Schetnan, 66, of Breckenridge was westbound on Highway 210 near 121st Avenue. Upon coming over a hill, the vehicle struck two horses that were standing in the westbound lane. The driver was transported to Tri-County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and both horses suffered fatal injuries.
The Todd County Sheriff's Office and Hewitt Fire Department assisted at the scene.
