According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on March 8, at 8:37 a.m., a Kenworth semi driven by James Wilfred Mugg, 54, of Bowlus and a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Stacy Lynn Pedley, 37, of Little Falls were traveling north on Highway 71 near County Road 84. Pedley took her eyes off the road and didn’t see the Kenworth braking to make a left turn into a business until it was too late to stop. The Chevrolet rear-ended the Kenworth. Pedley sustained a broken leg and was taken to CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie. The Todd County Sheriff’s Department and Clarissa Fire and Rescue  assisted at the scene.
