City votes to buy school building

    At the Clarissa City Council’s July meeting, Redline Power Sports and Marine Owner Chris Minor asked if he could purchase the city-owned lots on the south side of Main Street. For the time being, he would put up a fence and use the lots for storage because he is running out of space at his location along Highway 71. (The previous Busy B Cafe’ building). He will eventually build a workshop on the lots, which he hopes to be able to complete next summer. He asked, however, if the council would allow him up to four years to put up a building.
