The firing squad saluted the fallen veterans at the GAR Cemetery in Eagle Bend on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28. Afterwards, Taps was played in the distance. The flags flying at the cemetery were in honor of Norman Beach, Norman Nelson and Ralph Notch. Following the brief gathering at the cemetery, there was a program held at the VFW in Eagle Bend.
