The new intersection for County Road 4 in Wadena is nearing completion. The first layer of pavement was laid this week and the final layer is to be completed next week. The project coincided with city projects to replace storm drains and utility lines. They are working on raising manholes and pouring concrete driveway aprons. The new alignment of the intersection will allow easier navigation for commercial traffic and prevent safety issues blocking the intersection. The former section of County Road 4 will become city streets. It is expected to be open the week of June 17.
