The Cyber Café in Wadena closed their doors on January 31.

“It’s a variety of things,” said Manager Doug Wolff.

When they opened 18 years ago, it was a youth center with technology.

“We offered computers and gaming to kids that didn’t have it. A lot of the grants and funding was geared towards that. Over the years, with the change in communication and social media, everyone has a phone now with everything you need on it,” explained Wolff.

The coffee shop was opened to help supplement the income.  The coffee shop will be no more, but they plan on restructuring the non-profit and the youth center.
