The Browerville Fire Department responded to a house fire at 34597 275th Avenue in rural Browerville at 1:28 p.m. on January 16. The fire started in the ceiling from a stove pipe. Neighbors helped to get the children out of the house. The fire was isolated to one room. The Long Prairie Fire Department was paged for mutual aid, but was cancelled before they arrived.
