From the Eiffel Tower to the Swiss Alps, one lucky Bertha girl was able to participate in the trip of a lifetime. She sang her way through seven European countries in 10 days.

Former Bertha-Hewitt Choir Teacher Amber Sazama nominated Macie Fox to participate in the Minnesota Ambassadors of Music. Choir and band students from across the state are selected to participate in this grand event only once during their high school career.     “I’m glad I did it. I’m not typically a soprano two. We didn’t split (the lines) all that often, but when we did it trained me to read a different line for the harmony and I think it will make me a better musician in the long run,” explained Fox.

From July 6-21 Fox and friends visited England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Lichtenstein and Germany. . . .
