by Trinity Gruenberg
The Meadows of Wadena a new senior living complex features apartment style housing and the freedom for residents to come and go as they please.
There are seating areas dotted throughout the complex with a large living room with a big screen TV, fireplace, comfortable seating and tables.
“That is where we will do activities, have music and entertainment. We will be getting a piano as well,” said Director of Resident Services Jen Oyster.
She is looking forward to playing the piano and greeting tick-or-treaters for the first time.
They also have a large dining hall, beauty salon, courtyards, a library, WiFi, a hospital treatment room, and laundry rooms that are centrally located in the complex.
Laundry, housekeeping, three meals a day, shower assistance, wellbeing check ups at night and even daily towel service is included in their services.
They serve a continental style breakfast throughout the week with a hot breakfast on Fridays. Lunch and dinner are served dinning room style at noon and 5:30 p.m. daily.
