In the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 17, The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call in rural Perham where two people, Denise Mcfadzen and Dalton Mcfadzen, mother and son, were found dead.

    Suspect William Lynn Hillman, 21, of Pine River, was taken into custody and is being held at the Otter Tail County Jail, located in Fergus Falls, on two charges of second degree homicide.

    The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crime.
