Verndale drinking water given the "all clear" for all ages
Late Friday afternoon, May 19, the city of Verndale was notified that a recent drinking water nitrate public notice could be lifted. The radio stations were asked to spread the word and on Monday, it was added to the city’s web page.
On May 12, the water from one of the city’s wells, Well #1, had nitrate levels that rose above the Department of Health’s standards of 10.4 Mg/L.
