Only a passing glance—this time around!

It was supposed to be a lot worse, but for the most part, Mother Nature’s first attempt at winter overnight Thursday, October 26 through early Friday, October 27, left most of our area free of snow with just a light dusting, much of which was gone by afternoon. Weather reports predicted up to five inches of snow, but there wasn’t that much around these parts. Strong winds and cold were the norm over the past few days with Friday being no different. Above: Ericka Jonkowski Myers took some time out of her day to teach her students the proper way to make a snow angel.
