Deaths begin to add up in Todd and Wadena counties

Over the course of the past two weeks, there have been four additional COVID-19 related deaths in Todd County and a total of three for Wadena County which had previously reported no deaths.
According to Todd County Community Health’s Katherine Mackedanz, “In regard to the three recent deaths in Todd County, we are only able to report their age ranges. Two of the deaths occurred in individuals in their 90s and one was an individual in their 80s. Todd County currently has five total deaths related to COVID-19.”
The newest death reported on Monday, October 26, was an individual in their 70s.
Todd County has been addressing the need for mass testing and vaccinations in the future by setting up the Expo Building located at the Todd County Fairgrounds.
