Entrepreneur class creates several businesses that will support school organizations

For one semester a group of Verndale students had the opportunity to take part in an entrepreneur class taught by Matt Jones.
This class is in its fourth year. Originally, their main product was t-shirts until they got the laser engraver two years ago. This allows them to etch designs onto just about anything.
“People like custom things,” said Jones.
The class has created five different businesses that offer various products.
The students have selected the items they wish to sell and the profits support school organizations.
But first they had to convince their investors.
“We did a Shark Tank thing where a bunch of people sat at the table and we gave presentations,” said Gage Minoletti. . . .
