Students learn about fire safety

The Verndale School, in conjunction with the Verndale Fire Department, conducted a modified National Fire Prevention Week program for the students. They began with a fire drill at the school for all students and concluded with a program for kindergarten through fourth-grade classes. Due to COVID-19, the program was modified and held outside.
