Our very own Princess Kay of the Milky Way! Paskewitz is crowned!

Todd County’s own Rebekka Paskewitz was crowned the 65th Princess Kay of the Milky Way during the opening ceremony of the Minnesota State Fair on Wednesday, August 22.

Paskewitz is a 20-year-old college student from Browerville.

According to a press release from Director of Brand Strategy for Bellmont Partners Breanna Welke, Paskewitz will serve as the official goodwill ambassador for nearly 3000 Minnesota dairy farm families. 

She is the daughter of Alan and Vicki Paskewitz of Browerville. She attends South Dakota State University and is pursuing a degree in agricultural education. 

 Paskewitz was one of 12 county dairy princesses to compete for the title. 

The other contestants from all parts of Minnesota included: Blaize Dankers of Plainview, representing Wabasha County, and Korissa Lindquist of Kerkhoven, representing Kandiyohi County, who were selected as runners-up.

Katherine Gathje of Richmond, representing Meeker County, Ashley Maus of Freeport, representing Stearns County and Julia Mullenbach of Rose Creek, representing Mower County were named scholarship winners. Lindquist was also named Miss Congeniality. . .  .
