The Hewitt Historical Society is sponsoring the second annual Scandinavian Rendezvous to be held on July 14 from 12-4 p.m. at the Hewitt Museum and Community Center.
Scandinavian food sampling will be available at noon, featuring aebleskivers (pancake puffs) available from Danish Sisterhood Amber Lodge 186 and Swedish meatballs.
Scandinavian storytelling, speakers and traditional scandinavian music events will be held from 1-3
The 2nd Annual Scandinavian Rendezvous will provide an opportunity for residents and visitors to connect with one another, reconnect, and to learn more about the Hewitt area’s prevalent Scandinavian culture. . . .
