Ambitious 4-H Club Thanksgiving Giveaway

The Ambitious 4-H Club would like to show their thanks to the community by giving away groceries that would include the makings for a Thanksgiving meal for a family of six.
The groceries would include a turkey, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie, whipped cream, and milk. They will spend approximately $75 on the meal using club funds.
“With COVID going on there’s a lot of people having a hard time. I can imagine it’s going to get worse and more stressful with the holidays. Some may be struggling while others have stepped up and went above and beyond helping others,” explained Co-Leader Melissa Beyatt.
If you would like to nominate a deserving family or know someone in need in the Bertha, Hewitt, or Wadena communities, go to their Facebook page at Ambitious 4-H Club Thanksgiving Giveaway and private message them or email them at Ambitious4h@gmail.com. Please include the family’s name, phone number, and number of family members and submit your nomination by November 15.
A winner will be randomly selected on November 16 and the groceries will be dropped off at the selected winner’s home.

The club would like to host the giveaway again next year and expand if they are able.
