Anderson disappeared 32 years ago
The Wadena Police Department posted that November 13 marked the 32nd anniversary of the disappearance of Wadena’s Carla Beth Anderson. She was 23 at the time of her disappearance.
She is listed on the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Cold Case Playing Cards, displayed in police departments around the state.
The BCA, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Corrections and law enforcement agencies statewide, created a deck of cold case playing cards that highlights 52 violent unsolved homicides, missing persons and unidentified remains cases that have occurred throughout Minnesota in the past 50 years.
The goal of the cards is to gain further information and tips to help solve Minnesota’s cold cases.
The card decks have been distributed to all 515 Minnesota police departments and sheriff offices, plus 75 county jail and annex facilities. In addition, over 10,000 decks have been supplied to Minnesota state prison inmates. . . .
