Area sees flooding as torrential rains fall

The Browerville Park was flooded as the creek overflowed its banks. The lower part of the park was flooded, but the upper part where the picnic shelter is located appeared completely usable. This was taken on Saturday, August 15 after torrential rains fell on Friday. Our area had already received rain earlier in the week. Local citizens reported as much as 3.5-4.5 inches of rain (unofficial) for last week.
