Bertha-Hewitt School moving into hybrid model October 12: Browerville and LPGE waiting on this week

The COVID-19 cases are on the rise.

This week the case rate was 10.23 and the committee met to discuss what the plans are for the Bertha-Hewitt School.

They may not have any cases and they are trying to keep it that way.

The Minnesota Department of Health updates the case rate data on Thursdays. The schools get daily updates from the county and it has been over 10 cases per 10,000 people in the last five days.

It needs to be approximately 24 cases and under in the county to have all students learning in-person. The data is showing over 40 cases.

The prediction is that on October 8 the case rate will be over 17 and by October 15 the case rate could be between 16-20. . .
