The Burger Depot in Verndale posted on its Facebook page on January 26 announcing that they have closed their doors until the business is either leased or purchased. "We simply didn't have enough business throughout the year to keep up with expenses. I gave it seven years, tried a number of different menu items and specials to try and bring the local traffic in the door. I've had some interest, lots of ideas, but no solid commitment from anyone yet," said Owner Chris Black.
