Convoy of tractors passes through town on way to state capitol for a protest

A convoy of tractors flying American flags passed through Wadena and Verndale on their way to the state capitol on Friday afternoon.

In a video posted on Facebook by Dale Hillukka, the convoy of “Rocks and Cows” departed from Wolf Lake on Friday morning, heading to the capitol for a protest and rally on Saturday morning.

He invited fellow Americans to join them, citing some of the reasons as those that don’t like the mask order, don’t like their kids going to school with a mask on or sitting in a plexiglass cubicle.

Support vehicles were in tow as they planned an overnight stay and headed to the capitol in the morning, cruising along at 16 miles per hour. They were trying to start a movement across the state in hopes others would join them. . .
