The Soles4Souls shoe drive has returned to the Verndale Family Life Church with a goal of collecting 4000 pairs of shoes for the organization to distribute to those in need around the world.
The drive began on June 4 and will end on August 27 with Barefoot Sunday.
So far, they have about 400 pairs collected.
They conducted this drive in 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2021. Their 2021 goal was to collect 4000 pairs of shoes, and they came close with 3820 pairs.
This year, they have made it their goal to hit that 4000 mark.
