Tibbyās Cafe in Clarissa put up a new sign to draw attention from Highway 71. They recently put a new sign on the Main Street side of the building also.

Cheryl L. Carlson has been named Clarissa High Schoolās Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. Selected on the basis of their score in a December 2 homemaking knowledge and attitudes exam for which a record of 646,041 senior girls in 115,040 of the nationās high schools took the exam.

Danny Noska, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Noska, caught a small pure white mouse in the basement of the family home last week. The unusual thing about the mouse is that it was exceptionally furry, had black eyes, little ears, and a round face with a short noseāwhich usually isnāt a characteristic of mice. The animal had a short tail and a bushy set of whiskers.
