The Eagle Valley School Patrol was installed last week. This year’s patrol is Amanda Weibye, Jacob Lunemann, Melissa Vetsch, Hannah Skillings, Highway Patrol Safety Officer Dave Bulik, Darin Schroeder, Mark Supper, Jared Voge, and Advisor John Sieling.

The Central Todd County Care Center has received a new resident lift. The lift was purchased by the CTCCC Memorial Fund with contributions given by area organizations and also given by families as memorials. The lift is needed to help those residents who cannot stand alone. Contributing to the lift were memorials for Florence Nussear, Coleta Heaser, Mary Spychalla, Bob Bentz, William and Anna Duda, and Rudy Tryba and gifts from the Clarissa Summerfest Worship Service, Browerville VFW, Browerville VFW Auxiliary, Browerville Lions, and Clarissa Lions.

October 22, 1970
Kenneth Helgeson, general manager of the Eagle Valley Co-op Oil Association, was nominated for the 19th consecutive year to the board of directors of the Minnesota Cooperatives last Friday evening.

A good crowd attended Farmers Day at the Clarissa Creamery warehouse last Thursday, according to Jim Christensen, manager of the feed, seed, and fertilizer department.
