Kent to be sentenced for sexual assault
According to court records filed on June 14, 2019, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a girl was sexually assaulted at a cabin in rural Todd County in August of 2017. The alleged female victim was 15 at the time. The alleged assailant was Cody Kent, 23 years old at the time.
The female was interviewed by the sheriff’s office on June 10. She explained she was staying with her grandparents in Browerville during that time and met the alleged assailant on social media. They communicated through social media for a year before meeting in person for the first and only time. . . .
