June 22, 1995
Members of the Browerville Volunteer Fire Department entered a double elimination, best two out of three, water fight tournament at the Prairie Days Festival on Saturday. Browerville placed third out of the five departments competing.

Two days of activities will bring 18 central Minnesota dairy farmers’ daughters to St. Cloud during June Dairy Month for Central Minnesota Dairy days and a regional contest. One of the candidates is Todd County Princess Tammy Becker, daughter of Daniel and Barbara Becker of Browerville. She will be vying for the title of Region IV Dairy Princess to proceed onto the Princess Kay of the Milky Way contest during August as a kickoff to the Minnesota State Fair.

June 23, 1945
The board of education elected James Robertson of International Falls as band director and high school instructor for the ensuing year at their regular meeting on Tuesday night. Mr. Robertson has accepted the position and will assume charge of his duties on Monday, June 18.

On Friday evening of last week, a fire of unknown origin started in the awning of the Peterson-Biddick Co. Store, causing not only the loss of the awning, but the front of the building was badly scorched. It was only recently that damage to the front of the store was repaired after a moving van backed into the building and broke the windows.
