The extension of water mains on North Main Street from St. Joseph’s Church to the end of the street will soon be underway, according to information handed out this week by village officials. At a recent meeting of the village council, plans to this effect were formulated and all necessary materials and equipment were ordered. Work will begin in October.
The new addition, including interior classrooms, to the Blake School in Minneapolis, was designed by Headmaster Dorwin Zappe of this community. Mr. Zappe, a graduate of the Browerville High School, has taught at the Blake School for a number of years and two years ago was promoted to Headmaster.
