Pirates down the Raiders, fall to Swanville

On Monday, January 30, the Verndale Pirates Boys Basketball team hosted the Mille Lacs Raiders and won by a score of 51-41.

Shawn Schmitz had 17 points and Jaden Schulke added 11 to lead the Pirates in scoring. Shawn Schmitz also had 7 steals, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to lead those categories as well. . .
