The hallways were busy as the Verndale School invited students and parents in for their open
The Verndale School held its open house on September 2 to give students a chance to find their lockers and their classrooms. It also gave parents the opportunity to chat with teachers and learn what the school day may look like for their children. The school is implementing an extra recess for elementary and break times for the high schoolers to take a breather from wearing their masks. Music classes will be held outside as long as the weather is nice. Music programs will continue as scheduled with students being socially distanced on stage. There wonāt be a 9-11 ceremony this year, but the Veteranās Day program will be held. Passing times in the hallways between classes will be staggered by grade. Backpacks will be allowed this year.
