Snowplows were still plowing the day after the storm. Snow was piled on the sides of Farwell Street to make a path.
Independent snow removal crews were kept busy digging residents in Clarissa and around the county out from the storm.

The ice and snowstorm that hit on March 5 caused schools, offices and clinics to close for the day. Travel advisories were issued as the ice and snow covered roads made travel nearly impossible.
According to data from the National Weather Service, central Minnesota was hit particularly hard with Wadena County reporting the highest snowfall in the state. Oylen and Bluffton both reported 14 inches, 13.5 in Nimrod, Wadena 10 and Sebeka 9 inches.
The horrid road conditions caused area schools to be delayed for two hours on March 6.
Bertha and Hewitt reported 10-13 inches in the area, 10.2 in Browerville, 7 in Eagle Bend and 8 inches fell in Long Prairie.
