Online edition? What is an online edition? Do I care? Do I want one?

Well, allow me to explain.

An online edition of the Verndale Sun is, in brief, an electronic edition of our print edition. It will be readable on your computer, smartphone or other Internet enabled device (tablet, etc.).

I will tell you why I like the online edition.

1. I get the newspaper earlier, typically by noon on Tuesday. (Unless the commissioner’s meeting runs long!)

2. I can save money off the print edition cost.

(These two features are great if I am a “snowbird” because I get my local news right away and don’t have to wait for the mail to arrive up to a week later. I will also save money off the “snowbird” rate. Additionally, if I live out of state or even out of the country, I can still pay the low online rate!)

3. When I want to show someone something from the newspaper, all I have to do is whip out my smartphone and pull up my online edition and show it to them.

4. For those of us that are worried about the environment, we are also saving paper!

Our annual subscription rates are as follows:

• In Todd County $40

• In Minnesota $45

• Out of State & Snowbirds $50

• Online Only $35

• Print with online $55

Our subscription rates are well worth the money, but why not take advantage of all of the benefits of an online subscription?

If you give us your e-mail address, we will send you a free sample. If you like it, you can subscribe!

You know you want one, so call today, try it for free and then become a regular subscriber!
