Keeping her memory alive...Priceless gift that will keep on giving for a long time to come.

Her name was Teresa Crews...
Most of us in these parts didn’t know her.
But many of us will know her legacy thanks to the priceless gift she left behind when she passed away on November 22, 2017 at the age of 53.
Teresa was the daughter of Charlie Crews from Staples. Many senior citizens in our area are familiar with Charlie because of all the work he has done with computer training at several senior centers in the county.
Her step-mom, Kathy, is very active in quilting circles around the Staples area and is president of the Staples Senior Citizen group. She is also a TCCA representative.
Teresa was not only a daughter, but a sister, an aunt, a great-aunt, a friend, a co-worker, a traveler and a dreamer. She was also a quilter, a seamstress and a crafter.
This last part is the part that we in Todd County will come to know Teresa by.
With the motto, “She who finishes with the most quilt fabric WINS,” Teresa most definitely is a contender for the title! In fact, her love of quilting/sewing was boldly proclaimed on her license plate: SEWNGO.
After her death, Charlie and Kathy began the task of gathering up Teresa’s things. What they found was astounding, although somewhat expected, given Teresa’s love of quilting and crafting...
