Umland brothers compete in Junior Olympics
From June 25 through July 1, Matt and Adam Umland from Central Minnesota Boxing competed at the 2017 Junior Olympic and Prep Nationals Tournament held in Charleston, West Virginia. Both won the Region 6 Championships earlier this spring.
Matt won the 132 lb. regional youth title and Adam won the intermediate 125 lb. title. Both are now ranked in the top 10 in the country in their respective divisions.
Matt won the opportunity to compete at the Team USA Olympic Trials this winter.
