    Matt Umland has been selected to compete in the 132 lb. division at the 2017 National Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah, December 3-9 which will also serve as the Olympic Trials.   

    Matt will be 20 by the 2020 Olympics, so his division is being strongly sought after.  He is flying out a few days prior and will be meeting with three Olympic coaches and a former Olympian to help him prepare for the event. 

    He is still training in Wadena at 850 Ash Ave. NW and part-time at the Maslowski Wellness Center gym.
